What is Le Nozze di Figaro about?
Figaro and Susanna, servatns of the Count and Countess, are preparing their wedding. When Figaro finds out that the ocunt has tried to seduce Susanna he is furious and decides that he wants revenge.
The countess is un-happy in her marriage and decides, encouraged by Figaro and Susanna, to set a trap for her cheating husband with the help of the young boy Cherubino who dresses up as Susanna.
This of course leads to even more intrigues and confusions but as in every comical opera, love wins at last...
Le Nozze di Figaro is sung in Italian with Met titles in English, German, Italian and Spanish.
